I just used the compiz option to make multiple wallpapers, and I figured out that I can't access my Desktop. Is there a way to access it, or is it not possible without disabling multiple wallpapers?

Places > Desktop will allow you to access it. By selecting different wallpapers, you are allowing Compiz to draw your desktop, and your original desktop was drawn by nautilus

Places > Desktop will allow you to access it...

Which is just a shortcut to /home/yourusername/Desktop (a.k.a. ~/Desktop).

What I want to do is have the icons back on my desktop.
I can't right click on my desktop anymore, and there is nothing but the picture on it.
How do I get the icons on my desktop back?
