By installing the IDE app. monodevelop (apt:monodevelop)

i can't install it cause i always get something like this:

mono-2.0-devel:
Depends: mono-2.0-gac (=2.0.1-0ubuntu2) but 2.0.1-4 is to be installed
Depends: libmono-dev but it is not going to be installed

anyone?

how do you try to install it?
just open up synaptic, search for monodevelop and install that's it.

you really shouldn't try source install when something is on the repos (unless you want the latest version)

could someone else try to install monodevelop in 9.04, I'm suspecting maybe there is something wrong with the package?

User error - the package is fine. mono-2.0-devel and mono-2.0-gac are generated by the same version, their versions cannot differ.
