Jaunty Upgrade?

I've been using Intrepid now for little bit more than a month and I want to upgrade to Jaunty. I had to struggle to get my wireless working in Intrepid which included running some scripts which might have been Intrepid specific. When I upgrade to 9.04 using update manager, will my config files get overwritten? Do I have to reconfigure wireless in Jaunty? Since I am not very familiar with Linux to figure out the above, I would appreciate any guidance on this subject.

Download the live cd and run it for a while. If you have problems with the live cd, you will almost have the same problems upon install.
