64 Bit 9.04 - Fantastic !!! Dual boot overwrite 8.04

Toshiba 64 x 2 AMD Laptop Dual boot Vista/Ubuntu

I have successfully over written 8.04 with 9.04 can't believe how much faster it is.

Ah, in that case, you'll need to click the manual partitioning option. The click on your Ubuntu partition and edit it. Set it to be used as Ext3, set it to be formatted, and then set the mount point to "/".

Thanks for this post. This was a big help, as I wanted to maintain my dual-boot setup w/ Vista and only update Ubuntu to 9.04 without an internet connection.
