Just a comment: I remember when I was using XP and there was a lot of hype about Vista coming out (before everyone realized it was a piece of crap) and my first thought was "so what, I can't afford it anyway". Now I get to upgrade every six months! Ubuntu rules!!!!

Yes, evolution rather than revolution seems a better way.

I wonder how jaunty compares to the first ever release? The desktop probably still looks similar.
