I have the 64 bit 9.04 disk and I want to overwrite 8.04 with 9.04

I have backed up whatever data I need.

I need to keep the Vista section but I want to completely delete the 8.04 section and start fresh with 9.04.

I have played around with with the live CD and the partitioner but can't get what I want.

Please help.

Only format the 8.04 partition. Make sure the others are not set to be formatted and that /home is set at home (and any other set to what it is as well.) Swap will be automatically formatted.
