8.10 was ok!
After the upgrade to jaunty I can use X only with vesa driver. If I try to use the configured device with no driver specification in xorg.conf, or even if I specify the intel driver, X shows an alert instead of login splash form, saying that was unable to configure the display, and will turn in low-graphics mode...
I have a 4500MHD Intel mobile chipset on my notebook, with latest intel linux graphics drivers installed (2.7.99)
