I am looking for a VMware Community edition, I mean a free edition.
I will like to run ubuntu and windows.

VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/) is free, can be installed from the Ubuntu repositories & so far, I have found it nearly as good as VMWare Fusion (on a Mac).

I have an Ubuntu based Turnkey Joomla VM (http://www.turnkeylinux.org/) running inside VirtualBox.
