When I boot the computer I hear the normal Ubuntu sounds. Once I am fully booted and go to any site in Firefox (like watching movie trailer's, etc,) there is no sound.

Has anyone seen this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Create a new test login account, eg "Joe Bloggs" and login to see if sounds are working properly there. If they are, then you have something unusual in your other login's sound preferences - check them.

if you type this:

about:plugins

into your firefox adress bar you'll get to see what facilities are installed in your browser for listening to music, watching flash movies, and the likes... See if anything is disabled and if you can't fix the problem yourself - post the output in this thread.

I created a test account and logged in. I still get the same sound problem.
