I have found that persistent storage for a liveusb is broken in two places. The first is after installing 9.04 in vmware. Then, from vmware, I run Administration > USB Startup Disk Creator. I selected 4GB of Persistent Storage. When I reboot the PC from the completed USB stick and make changes, then reboot from the USB stick again, the changes are not saved.

The other place this happens if after making a complete backup via remastersys to a DVD. When I boot the Live DVD and run Administration > USB Startup Disk, it does not work there. I also get a number of applet errors.

All of this works under 8.10.

I too have noticed the problem with persistent storage. Any ideas on how to make this work? Thanks... Haywood
