Downloaded the ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso.
Did an md5sum check : ok
Burnt the iso to disk in 8.04 using Brasero.
Performed a data integrity test : ok
The cd boots and I choose language but when I try to boot into the live cd
I just get a black screen with a flashing paddle in the top left corner.
Same result when I choose to install.
I burnt the iso again onto a dvd-rw that I had simply mepis on.
Same result.
I tried an old 8.04 live cd and it worked fine.
I can also run the iso in virtualbox.
Any help appreciated. :( :confused:
