Hi All
I installed Unbuntu 8.10 inside Windows XP and now dual boot. If I don't want to keep unbuntu 8.10 I just go to Windows XP and remove Unbuntu Linux 8.10. So far it stable and pretty good and had install most software, photos, etc. I do not want to lose everything as the backup only backup the home folder but not in /usr/share/application folder that keep all the program installed.
So I got the update software telling me there is "New distribution release 9.04 is available" ready to upgrade. But would that affect anything during upgrade or after upgrade?
I'm not advanced expert but just a beginner enough to know a bit. I don't use compiz 3d but I don't want to mess things up.
I have Intel Pentium 4 with 512mb memory.
Any suggestions?
