I am running a jaunty live USB and chose to install alongside 8.10, however it has been "resizing partition" for almost an hour. I can't access my hard drive through the places tab or use gparted.
EDIT: It was just uncharacteristically slow, it's fine now. I was just panicing by posting here, sorry.
