How do you upgrade from Ubuntu 9.04 RC to the newly released 9.04?

Just let the update manager take care of it. If you have the rc installed then the updates will auto-magically update it to the release version.

Are you sure 300mb of updates were released after official release?
Only recent updates I noticed was firefox 3.0.9
Maybe you mean if you install RC today, you would notice 300mb of updates?

How do you know if it has upgraded? I don't remember any major upgrades.
I installed the RC on the 17/04/09.
I ran:
lsb_release -a
The result:
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04
Codename: jaunty
How would I know if it's the RC or full release?
Thanks.

I was running 8.1 and got a notice of a pile of updates last week as well. It was over 400 files.
