If I hit Cancel? Upgrade to 9.04

Howdy,
I've been downloading packages for a while now, been an hour and 15 and have about 225 out of 1434 down and running at about 25kb/s so this is going to take a bit longer than I'd like to spend right now (like 11 hours).

So if I hit the cancel button at this point am I going to leave myself in an unstable state or will things just pick up where they left off when I retry the update when traffic is a bit lighter.

The update is being done thru update manager btw.

Its fine to cancel the update while it is downloading packages.. and will start where it left off when you do update again
I would not stop the upgrade after it begins installing the packages

looks like it hit cancel for me. Just got this error:

The upgrade is now aborted. Please check your Internet connection or installation media and try again. All files downloaded so far are kept.
