How to convert to EXT 4, without a fresh install.

The title says it all, I dont want to do a fresh install but I want EXT 4. Could I get a step by step please?

I successfully used this a while back and it worked as advertised. I've since done a fresh install starting with ext4, but nothing in the HOWTO was responsible for that decision. ;-)
