MS Office 2007 over OpenOffice.org 3.x

Hi everyone!

hmmm... as much as i want to deviate from any microsoft applications, it seems that circumstances are forcing me to install their office, especially MS Word. our transcriptions (don't think of medical transcriptions --- these are notes made from the lecturers by students assigned) are made from ms office and whenever i open them using openoffice.org, there seems to be some formatting issues especially on the header and footer.

so my question is, is there a way to easily install/use ms office in ubuntu?

I've heard (but never tried myself) that MS Office 2007 runs very well with Wine.
You can try it.

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is install wine, insert the cd, right click the installer for office and choose to run it over wine and i'm pretty sure it should install ok... Someone correct me if I am wrong..
