Motherboard Disc Integrity Check Fail

I have a fresh 9.04 CDR which i have run the integrity check in 2 computers. In one computer passes, however, the check fails with 1 error my other computer.

The failing computer has a N1996 XFX motherboard. I am using a DVDrw drive and have verified that the connections are snug and seated properly.

Any suggestions?

Unplug the power cord. If this is a laptop also remove the battery. Press the Power On switch and hold it 1-2 seconds. Reinstall the power. Press the Power On button.

Well, believe it or not, it was a RAM issue. I removed one of the 1GB stick and poof, no problems installing.
