Hello All,

I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 and I am trying to change my refresh rate that my graphics card will take my monitor to. When I run Warcraft III, I get an "Out of range" issue, which is why I am doing this.

I installed ddcprobe so that I can monitor my range (currently 30-83, 50-76). I've done many changes suggested by many posts on the /etc/X11/xorg.conf but I have never successfully been able to run Warcraft III. After doing the edits and restarting my computer, I do 'sudo ddcprobe' but I always get the mentioned rates. Any suggestions to turn down the frequency?

Edit: When I run 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg', I NEVER see any graphics/display related prompts. I only see stuff about my keyboard.
