hi, and thanks for all help in advance.

my problem is that i have an .iso that i want to boot from a flash drive (kingston, 8GB). i cannot just put the iso on a cd/dvd because my computer doesn't have an optical drive. i have the acer aspire one, with dual boot of ubuntu netbook remix (jaunty) and xp. i also have another computer with vista, so applications for vista will work too. the iso is XxXosx86, a hacked version of mac os 10.4.10. i can post more info if needed, of course.

i am off to work now, and so i can't be online. i'll be back around 4:30 helsinki, finland time.

Do you mind clarifying your problem a little? Sounds like you're trying to boot a non-Ubuntu iso from a USB stick?

You might want to try a different forum I'm afraid... if it were an Ubuntu .iso, you could expect help, but such as it is...
