Ubuntu9 RC vs. Ubuntu full release?

If I am already running the Jaunty RC, can't I just keep the install that I have and the OS will be updated to full release version through auto updates anyway? Not really interested in re getting what I already have (downloading same thing twice)

If you are update to date with the updates for your current install of Jaunty you are running the full release.
