Hello friends...currently downloading Ubuntu 9.04 rc...now its an iso...everybody knows...so instead of wasting cd's how can u just mount the image on pen drive and install it...is there any way..Thanks...

If you have Ubuntu 8.10 installed already, you can use the menu options to create a bootable USB for installing 9.04. Download the 9.04 ISO. Then use the menu option "System > Administration > Create a USB Startup Disk" to create a bootable 9.04 USB. Then reboot from the USB and install as you would from a Live CD.

I have now installed Ubuntu 9.4 and trying to figure out how to increase my desktop memory space and my documents - neiother of which seems to link to my 189gb hard drive! I have been told this is because of 'partitioning' Have i installed Ubuntu incorrectly?

I ran the DF command and got this:
