Hello,
I've been using http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/remastersystool.html (remastersys) for some time now to make clean and updated backups to share with my friends and to reinstall when needed. I recently had some HW issues and had to borrow a friends laptop. He put ubuntu on it, but I've been booting to the flash drive because it has gcc installed and other things I want. I've been experiencing some problems...

Just yesterday I started downloading a big torrent that my friend put up (trance, good stuff), so I left it on for awhile without restarting. Usually I don't leave the computers I use on for very long, but this time I did.

For some reason firefox (when I'm using the flashdrive) doesn't enable the forward/back buttons, it also has some problems with searching from search bar (though if I go to google.com, it works fine).

The last thing is that sometime applications close randomly sometimes.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks,

Nope,
Sorry about the long pause there. Just reinstalled and that fixed the issues,
