Hello,
How to unlock CD-ROM?
I've a several CD Installer. But I only have 1 CD which compatible with my requirement. But in the middle run, the base system is corrupted. So I can't change it excepts I restart it. I think the base system is same as other CD installer like UBUNTU DESKTOP 8.04 with UBUNTU SERVER 8.04.

Thanks

Hi make sure that the md5sum (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM) matches after you have downloaded the ubuntu-desktop.iso (assuming its the Desktop version you want) then burn it at x4 or less as a iso not as a data file. Then when you have booted the live cd choose the option to 'check the cd for defects' before starting the install.
