View Full Version : [ubuntu] Jaunty's KDS version on Hardy - how?

Hi :)

My second question today... i can't seem to figure this out. Yesterday i installed Jaunty on my test system, and also the KDE and XFCE desktops. While i normally prefer Gnome, i still LOVE the KDE version that Jaunty got.

Now today i finally (!) also installed KDE (kubuntu-desktop) on my main computer, however it is a whole different KDE, looking vastly outdated against Jaunty's (more like W2K, while Jaunty's is like "Vista on steroids").

Now how can i get Jaunty's KDE onto my Hardy main machine..? I believe it should be possible.......

And no, i am not planning to upgrade my main machine to Jaunty - so please don't suggest it. I keep Jaunty on the other machine.

Kind regards.....
