Games don't work!!

all the games i install from the package manager and the add or remove tool dont't work i've tried to remove and re install the games but the games don't work....

the game loads up but the colours are messed up so i cant see whats really going on the screen. this makes my computer 'freeze', so i have to restart the computer.

please help.

if they are 3d games, you need 3d support.

type this
glxgears in a terminal.

you should see frame rates over 10,000fps

this indicates if 3d is enabled on your machine, if not you are gonna have to do some research on how to get it working on your particular hardware.
