Generating ISO's from installed OS

Hi,

I have a requirement that, I need to generate ISO images. Only source I have is installed operating system (Linux distribution).
i.e, I have installed a OS from ISO images, after that I have lost my ISO images, and would like to generate ISO images from the installed OS.

Any pointers here appreciated.
