I have installed Kubuntu and now want to dual boot with Windows. How can I do so? I feel that by simply installing Windows now, will remove linux.

i would prepare my windows partition in ubuntu, install winblows (dont let it partition your drive), reinstall mbr, configure grub.

windows will overwrite the mbr. how do i configure grub?

OR

You could just install windows to a virtual machine..

In the new VirtualBox even hardware acceleration works, so you CAN play some 3d games..
