libtix

I need to install libtix8.1.8.4.so.
I have tried to use apt-get install tix.
The system reponds with 'tix is already installed'.
But when I looked at /usr/lib, no libtix file.
Is there any way to locate where is the installation?
Or how to install this library?

Got it.
The library uses Caps Letter.
It's libTix8.4.so.1 instead of libtix8.4.1.so.1
