This may sound stupid but... how can I tell?

I know I did the CD with the 64bit version, but aside of this, I see no indication on the LiveCD that I'm running the 64bit version.

The system monitor just says what linux and gnome versions but dont diferentiate between 32 and 64.

Any help? thanks in advance...

The disc label (as in what you see in another OS when you insert the disc) is, as far as I know, the only easily accessible indicator of processor architecture. By the way, I DON'T mean the label stuck to the disc, I do mean the volume label. You could try opening a terminal and typing "arch", which is supposed to show you which you're on, but it never worked for me.
