Hello

M father needs a new laptop. He has an older Thinkpad and really likes it. I was looking at some for him as it is not tech oriented at all and noticed almost all of the Thinkpads come with ATI cards. He is using Ubuntu and would like to stay with it. I know a few years back when I had an ATI card the support was awful. Has it gotten any better or should I find another laptop for him? Only the W series (Thinkpad's mobile desktops) have Nvidia cards and they are too expensive/bulky.

Thanks for the help.
