A simple question,
when I install a beta version. And some weeks later the online version becomes RC. Will my installation become RC when I do a apt get update/upgrade or do I need to download the RC version to have it? Same for stable?

You can update as usual. No need to reinstall.

In theory, you never have to reinstall, not even between major releases.
In practice, I reinstall at least every 12 months, because I like to restart with a clean system, and it's very quick if you have a separate /home.

Ok, but upgrading is always nice when it works. And I never had problems with it :-)
Let's try a Italian word of thanks,
grazie tanto,
sono molto lieto di aver fato il tuo connucienca...
Let's hope it's written without faults. But I can speak a bit :-)

Sure. I just notice an improvement in speed when I reinstall after 12 months.
Also, a patch that I needed for my video card wouldn't fix the problem in 8.10, but the card worked out of the box with 9.04. So I'm happy I clean-installed 9.04 beta.
