I'm looking for a simple way to backup & sync my documents, music, etc. Currently I have three options:

Drop-box.
Positives:

Dead Simple (transparent to user)
Cross platform (windows / linux)

Negatives:

Requires internet access
Requires uploaded data to google's servers
Proprietary

Unison
Positives:

Somewhat simple (could be made transparant with cron perhaps)
Cross platform (windows / linux)

Negatives:

Slow to sync via ssh.
No longer being actively developed.

Rsync
Positives:

Lightweight, already installed

Negatives:

Not simple to setup, but afterwards could be made transparant to user via cron?)
Cross platform?

Any thoughts on the above options, or what I have listed as benefits drawback? How about some other option I'm not aware of?

Any good guides on using one or more of the above options?

I'm using Jaunty.

I use rsync across my media servers.
