Hi all,

I need to know how to re-install unbuntu on my dual boot system.

I have win XP and Jaunty.

I tried booting from the disc, but there is no install option.

The problem is that I have been trying to get the wireless card to work through ndiswrapper and have modified many files in the process. It worked for a little while then quit.

I think I can get it to work now, but I may have messed up so much code, it would just be easier to do a clean install and start from scratch.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt

Get yourself a Parted Magic live CD:

Boot up Parted Magic and reformat your Ubuntu partition. Then boot up the Jaunty CD and reinstall it.

I'm not sure why there is no option to reinstall, unless this is something new in Jaunty. I have reinstalled in previous versions of Ubuntu, and the option to install is always available. I have not tried to reinstall Jaunty though.
