Hello every body.
I was having a problem with panels that whenever i added some launchers like firefox, thunderbird, amarok etc, they seemed to disappear every time i rebooted. I googled, searched ubuntu forums and found that many people were having the same problem. Now when i have solved it, i thought of sharing it with other Ubuntu users.
The problem was that i was firstly adding a launcher to desktop, then dragging it to the panel and then deleting the launcher from desktop (i believe most of you people also doing this). Deleting the launcher from the desktop was causing the launcher on the panel to disappear.
When i realized this, i dragged the icons from the Gnome Menu onto the panel. Added lots of them and then restarted and everything stayed fine.
