Emerald will only half start

Hi I dled emerald when i type emerald --replace it changes my windows to the theme but not any panels and just hangs in the terminal window... Any thoughts?

It's not even supposed to do anything else than change your window borders & titlebars.

Everything else comes from other themes. For example how your panels look like depends on GTK2 theme, just like the general look of all your running programs does.
