Which is/has been your all-time favorite TV series?
As for me, it has been The X-Files. Nothing has surpassed it till now.

I might agree with X-Files... I have every episode and have seen each one more than 10 times each.

I also like the Outer Limits (the new one from the 90s) the old Twilight Zone, South Park, and Futurama

I think that Stargate is a great series, I think I have just about watched every episode that is available on free-TV, I live in Germany and its on almost every day.

Cannot wait for the new Star Trek movie though as I have the entire set!!.

Have a good one chaps.

Twin Peaks and The X-Files were great defining shows. Aside that Firefly was wonderful as was Jericho. Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Right now I like American Dad!, Dexter, The Mentalist, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dollhouse, The Big Bang Theory, Numb3rs and NCIS. (a few of these are definitely losing their touch though)

Twin Peaks. X-Files lost its mojo for me around season three when Chris Carter started taking too much direction from fans.

Also quite like America's Next Top Model - no matter how big a problem you're facing its nice to be reminded that there are people out there worrying and fighting over something considerably less important.

Farscape beat them all IMO.

So much wonderful imagination was put into that.

I saw one episode and realised it was "D&D in space", I never quite understood the attraction.

I really don't watch much TV, but when I do it's usually Chuck, the office or Mythbusters.

Gaki no Tsukai ya Arrahende!

It's those crazy punishment-games from Japan.

Okay, so I can't exactly receive japanese tv-signals, but I still "manage" to get a hold of them ;)

Wish there were more subs available, though.

Several shows worthy of mention have been already listed, like m*a*s*h, Doctor Who, House MD, Boston Legal (what about "The Practice"?). Some of the older Doctor Who shows from the 1960s & 1970s are good for a laugh - I once saw a Doctor Who movie with Peter Cushing as the Doctor in it, quite different to more recent offerings.

I haven't read the entire thread (yet): has anyone mentioned "Time Tunnel"?

Speaking of older shows, I recently flicked on to one of our local stations, and encountered "Mr Ed" dubbed into Maori, laugh track and all. (aaargh why do I need laugh tracks to know when something's supposed to be funny? If I find it funny, I'll laugh!) Ka pai, Wilbur!

Everybody Loves Raymond Seasons 1-9 DVD Boxset (http://www.dvdcollects.com/products/Everybody-Loves-Raymond-Seasons-1-9-DVD-Boxset-DVDS-1274.html)
is a series comedy about a family who live on Long Island. Ray Barone (Ray Romano) who works for New York Newsday and his wife Debra Barone (Patrica Heaton) with their three kids Ally, Michael, and Geoffery. This family have most of their troubles because ray's parents live across the street Frank Barone (Peter Boyle) and Marie Barone (Doris Roberts) and Ray's brother who lived with his parents for half of the season Robert Barone (Brad Garret). This show aired in 1995 and ended in the year 2005. This family comedy show is a very very good show. Awesome show!
+1 Watch reruns when I remember....
