View Full Version : [kubuntu] Update killed Kubuntu

I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty w/ KDE.

When I upgraded, many of my programs disappeared/died. I think they failed to download properly. How (via terminal) do I connect wirelessly and re-download the packages?

If necessary, I can format and reinstall (luckily I keep my Os's and data seperate, but I'd prefer to keep it as-is in case anything important gets wiped...

first post your hardware information, if you can connect wired do that.

if you don't know run

lspci on that box and give us the chipset.

It's an Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 AG

I can fish more, but I need to restart, write whatever down, and restart again, so it's a bit of a pain.
