I found this full-page ad in the inside of the last page of my mom's Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Can any of you see what's wrong with it?

I'd agree.....

Something about the comms badges don't quite ring true either but I can't quite place it. Is it because they're referred to as "beam up badges" or is it something else?

The Romulan and Klingon badges are reversed.

This is the official insignia of the Klingon Empire

But in the picture you can clearly see that the badge bearing this symbol is labeled as Romulan.

Yup! :) I cracked up laughing when I saw it. If Worf saw it, he'd be telling the person who made that mistake "Hab SoSlI' Quch!"

I noticed that the middle finger looks like a male phallus.

Indeed, as a former trekkie I spotted that right off.
