Good Day.

I have the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum with the front bay I/O device bay. As a nood, I have just installed 9.04--and I am loving it! I want to make sure I can still access all the Audigy 2 features, esp. those in the front bay. The sound is working but I want more control over the audio.

Thanks

You should be able to access the features and switches, either with the graphical volume control program or alsamixer at the command line.

My ZS Platinum (also with the front bay) works fine.

That is wonderful. But I am not sure I follow. Where is the graphical volume control program? I have gone to System>Preferences>Sound but there are no controls there. I have also looked in Rythmbox but there are no controls in there.

Also, you mention alsamixer at the command line. Do you mean the terminal? Where do I learn the basic command lines for that?

Thanks

Hi Rreyes

In the old days you used to open a console and type alsamixer, but the latest releases double click the volume control icon will bring up the volume control panel
