Hey all,
The title basically sums it up. I've had this problem forever, and have just stuck with metacity, but I'd really like to use the advanced looks/styles/effects provided by compiz.
However, when I enable compiz, I get strange glitches, such as flashing video playback, weird triangle shapes when using the expo, the same goes for rotating the desktop cube. It's just really unusable and annoying.
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid x86_64 on a Toshiba satellite laptop. My graphics card is the ATI Radeon x1250. If you need any other information, just ask! :)
