So i had ubuntu intrepid working for a LONG time. along came something in start up randomly that said something to the effect of Kernel Panic and boot fail. Sorry for the vague details so i re-installed from an ISO disk that has worked for my friend that has the same computer+sameHD+same os. The disk loaded fine, however when I went to restart and boot into ubuntu the same "fail" happened.
How do i install ubuntu without failure? i have an HP Touchsmart tx2 tab notebook with an AMD 64 bit and Vista home.
help.... Im quite angry with ubuntu right now.
brad
oh btw, i ran the terminal equivalent in vista and did
bcd edit
bcdedit /delete _path file name for the ubuntu on the bootloader_
and deleted everything no I have NO linux on my system... i think
