It happens to me that I selected to install my grub in the windows xp partition when I'm installing Ubuntu 8.04, and then I cannot boot
windows xp. Then I tried to reinstall Ubuntu, this time I install grub
in the ubuntu partition. But now I cannot boot windows either.
I've tried this post http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1074973
and find my situation deferent from that.
