I just got a new laptop today, a Dell Inspiron Studio 15. I made an installation disc for 8.10 and am trying to install it from Vista, but it seems to have a problem every time it gets to the "Creating Image" step where it creates a 732 MB image. Once it reaches 100% it instantly stops and tells me "Could not access the CD drive" suggesting that it is being in use with another program, but the only other programs I have up are MSN, Pidgin, and Firefox, none of which are using the CD drive. I checked the Task Manager but there aren't any processes that seem to use the drive in any way. How can I get past this?
