Hey im a Windows user but i used to have Ubuntu before, so i tried to install Ubuntu 8.10 in the same machine that i used to have it but during the installation everything was ok then when the installation finished, after restart my computer, i write my username and password but after that Ubuntu does not display the desktop screen just a back screen. no matter how i install it, (on different HD or inside Windows XP)why this is happening???
