i was download the ubuntu from internet yesterday and install it in my pc every thing is ok

but I have 2 problem

I can't effect the desktop and I don't why :( plz help me

the 2end problem : the pc can't read the USB hardisk

what model of nvidia card do you have installed in your computer?

when you say "the 2end problem : the pc can't read the USB hardisk",
is there any error massage that is displayed when you plug the usb harddisk in?
