today i installed ubuntu 9.04 (beta) on my external hard drive so i could use it with different computers. when the hard drive is plugged in grub comes up and gives me the usual list of operating systems, fine
When i boot without the hard drive i expected it to just boot as normal (into winxp) but grub comes up again and it says error 21, is there a way to make the computer boot as normal without the HDD. OR is there a way i could use ubuntu and xp without grub at all?
