I have a TYAN server with 2 GB of RAM and two 1TB sata hard drives.
I have install Ubuntu server ver 8.04 LTS and tried ver 8.10
The install goes well with no problems.
When I reboot after the install the server will not boot, I just get a flashing curser. Grub is not displayed.
I have also tried booting the first hard disc form the install CD, the server then boots no problem.
I have also done a dist-upgrade and then rebooted, still not working
Can anybody help please ?????
