Instead of reformatting the whole drive and allocating a certain amount of space, can I, as in is it possible to, use gparted to shrink the playstation 3's partition and then use the remaining free space to install Ubuntu on? What filesystem does the playstation 3 use?
I have a friend that doesn't have a computer and he needs one for school work, etc and I told him that I could help turn his PS3 to a computer if he is willing to buy a USB mouse and keyboard to which he agreed. I really doubt he'd want to lose all his video game data which is why I need to know if this is possible.
