Anybody out there using Clear Wire for an ISP? I have used it for around four years now and the bandwidth speed continues to degrade. I have made a complaint about this but no one really cares or listens. When I say that I'm getting less than advertised speed I am not stretching the truth by any means. I would have to have a speed increase to match dsl. For example, it took 35 hours to download a DVD ISO. Today I started installing Sauerbraten from synaptic. Estimated time 10 hours plus.
Here where I live we don't have much of a selection for broadband providers; Clear Wire, Qwest and Charter Communications or a cost prohibitive satellite system. I thought about switching to Charter but a while back I had read that they planned on setting bandwidth limits.
